about

We're glad to be releasing Gene's newest material since his latest EP on Recycled Plastics. Listeners will enjoy a more rigid format and an improved sound design. This LP graces acid and techno, while also skating alongside fast breaks and ambient parts. It's just sick so please, give it a listen and support Gene Mantua and SQL.

Pheonix, AZ resident Ramenboy lets us listen to a sludgey night in his studio. In his second attempt to remix this track you can hear frustration with the source material and out of that comes a great combination of live drums and electronic production. Its an acquired taste, but we've come to love the sounds from this producer and wish he would share more live instrumentation with us.

SQL co-founder Josh Mace shapes and forms the original track into a tool focused on creating an impact on a large scale dance floor. Amen breaks and a thick low end make for a nice change of pace at peak time.

Gene Mantua resides in Akron, OH and this is his second release for Sequel Sound. You can also find his material on the Recycled Plastics imprint. He has been creating electronic music since the late 1990s.

Thank you for your support!
